Rinne Allen’s light drawings capture the flora of her garden as it changes throughout the year. To create her drawings a light sensitive emulsion is painted onto paper in the dark. Then she places different objects on the paper and places them in the sun. The interaction of sunlight, object, and emulsion captures the object’s silhouette on the page. These one-of-a-kind pieces are a natural complement to the Summer Seasonal collection.
