Issou Zuiun Maki-e Wakasa Lacquer Chopsticks 20.5 cm/8.1 in or 23 cm/9 in
These chopsticks exude an auspicious elegance, with their chic combination of red or black lacquer and dazzling gold maki-e, a traditional technique frequently seen on Japanese lacquerware.
The chopstick tips have a slightly rough texture and are non-slip, making it easy to pick up food. Recommended not only for daily use, but also for entertaining guests or as a gift.
They come in two colors, black and red, each in a different size. Please choose the one that best fits your hand size.
These chopsticks are made by Ishida, which has been making Wakasa lacquer for over 80 years. Wakasa lacquerware is a traditional craft of Obama City, Fukui Prefecture, which has been around since the early Edo period (1603 CE–1868 CE).
