Form 43
This form is like a tiny garden unto itself. It reminds me of my neighbor, a home gardener who loves and cares for her plants. The scalloped edge on this design is used twice, on both the inner and outer pots, with an unglazed edge similar to classic Heath dinnerware, which showcases our special clay. In this piece, the primary terracotta glaze is applied in a darker shade on the saucer and a lighter hue within, with a ring of blue at the base that speaks of the water that collects inside. — Tung Chiang
