The Teardrop Vase is hand-thrown and glazed by the skilled hands of our small team in the San Francisco Clay Studio. Here the exterior is glazed with the special technique of our Winter Seasonal collection: Thread. This technique emerged out of an exploration in applying texture on the potter’s wheel. The fine, spiraling line of glossy Latte glaze is both sophisticated and tactile—it’s a glaze that’s meant to be touched. The combination celebrates our unglazed California clay and the hand of the craftspeople who shape it.
