Sharaku Chirimen Yuzen Furoshiki Wrapping Cloth 27in
This bold and impactful Japanese Furoshiki has a portrait of a male Kabuki actor from the Edo period, painted by an Ukiyo-e artist named Tōshusai Sharaku.
Sharaku is known as a mysterious artist whose name is only a pseudonym and his life is not fully known besides the fact that all of his 145 works were created in a short period of 10 months and then he just disappeared and is missing.
This Furoshiki is made by a Japanese traditional weaving technique called “Chirimen”, which gives it a unique texture with an uneven surface.
It is a perfect design for wrapping gifts for your loved ones or arranging into bags.
