The Wide Neck Vase is thrown and glazed by the skilled hands of our small team in the San Francisco Clay Studio.The neck features a precise transition partway down the profile creating not only a distinctive form but an opportunity to showcase our love of glaze and its many beautiful and unexpected combinations. Sunflower Gloss and Opaque White fuse beautifully in the kiln to create a warm, beautiful variegated visual texture with a smooth and glossy finish. This version is a wider interpretation of a design originally created as a one of a kind design for Design Series 2. The form has become a favorite of Clay Studio Director, Tung Chiang.
